Let’s be real—if you’re not on TikTok yet, what are you even doing with your life? Scrolling through Facebook like it’s 2012? Posting on Twitter (sorry, X) and getting ratioed into oblivion? Or worse… are you one of those people who still thinks YouTube Shorts is a viable platform?
Bless your heart.
TikTok isn’t just an app; it’s a cultural phenomenon, a dopamine dispenser, and the only place where a random person lip-syncing to a cat meowing can become a millionaire overnight. If you’re trying to promote your videos and grow an audience, TikTok is the cheat code you’ve been waiting for.
Here’s why.
1. The Algorithm is Scary Good (Like, FBI-Level Good)
TikTok’s algorithm knows you better than your therapist. It understands your deepest desires—whether that’s watching pugs in pajamas or learning how to fold a fitted sheet (which, by the way, is clearly witchcraft).
Unlike other platforms where you post into the void and pray to the engagement gods, TikTok actually wants people to see your content. Even if you have zero followers, your video can still blow up because the “For You Page” (FYP) is a magical land where virality is just one weird dance move away.
Pro Tip: If you want to go viral, just film your dog doing literally anything. The internet loves dogs. (Unless your dog is boring. Then maybe try a cat.)
2. You Don’t Need Fancy Equipment (Your Phone is Enough)
Remember when YouTube demanded 4K cameras, professional lighting, and a degree in film editing just to get noticed? Yeah, TikTok said, “Nah, just point your phone at something funny and hit record.”
Some of the biggest TikTok stars started by filming in their bathrooms with questionable lighting. The platform thrives on authenticity—or at least the illusion of authenticity. No one cares if your video has a Hollywood budget; they just want to be entertained.
Translation: If your “production value” is just you whispering conspiracy theories into your front-facing camera at 3 AM, you’re already winning.
3. Trends Move at Light Speed (And You Can Ride the Wave)
TikTok trends are like memes on steroids. One day, everyone’s doing the “Renegade” dance, the next day, we’re all pretending to be corn (yes, that happened). The key to success? Hop on trends early.
If you see a sound, filter, or challenge gaining traction, jump on it like it’s the last lifeboat off the Titanic. The algorithm loves content that’s part of a trend because it means more people are searching for it.
Warning: If you’re late to a trend, you’ll look like your dad trying to dab. Don’t be that guy.
4. Engagement is Insane (People Actually Comment!)
On Instagram, you post a pic and get three likes from your mom and that one bot account selling fake followers. On TikTok? People will write entire essays in your comments.
TikTok’s comment section is a wild place where strangers will:
Debate your life choices
Share their own bizarre stories
Start cults based on your facial expressions
The more engagement (likes, comments, shares) your video gets, the more TikTok pushes it out. So if you want to grow, encourage the chaos. Ask questions, make mistakes on purpose, or just say something outrageous—people love correcting strangers on the internet.
5. You Can Go Viral Overnight (No, Really)
On other platforms, going viral is like winning the lottery. On TikTok? It’s Tuesday.
I’ve seen accounts with 12 followers suddenly get millions of views because they filmed their goldfish “dancing” to Beyoncé. The barrier to entry is so low that anyone—yes, even you—can strike gold if you post consistently and ride the right trends.
Disclaimer: Virality is unpredictable. You might post 50 videos that flop, and then the 51st—where you sneeze in reverse—somehow gets 10 million views. TikTok is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, deep-fried in chaos.
6. The Community is (Mostly) Supportive
Unlike Twitter, where people will fight you over the correct way to eat cereal, TikTok’s community is surprisingly wholesome (as long as you avoid political discourse). Creators hype each other up, duet each other’s videos, and collaborate like it’s a digital summer camp.
Even if your content is niche—whether it’s underwater basket-weaving or reviewing vintage toasters—there’s an audience for it. TikTok’s algorithm finds your people, no matter how weird they are.
7. Monetization is Actually Possible
Unlike some platforms that dangle monetization like a carrot you’ll never reach (looking at you, Instagram), TikTok has multiple ways to make money:
Creator Fund (if you meet the requirements)
Live Gifts (people will literally throw digital money at you)
Brand Deals (companies love TikTok influencers because the engagement is unreal)
Selling Your Own Products (if you’ve got merch, a course, or just a really strong personality)
Plus, if you grow on TikTok, you can funnel followers to YouTube, Patreon, or OnlyFans (if that’s your thing—no judgment).
8. It’s Fun (Unlike LinkedIn, Which is Just Depression in App Form)
Let’s be honest—most social media is a toxic hellscape. But TikTok? TikTok is pure, unfiltered entertainment. Whether you’re laughing at absurd skits, learning random life hacks, or falling into a rabbit hole of ASMR videos, it’s fun.
And if you’re having fun making content, your audience will too. People can smell desperation, so just be yourself—unless yourself is boring, then maybe pretend to be someone else.
I’d say in a world where attention spans are shorter than a goldfish’s memory, TikTok reigns supreme. It’s fast, addictive, and rewards creativity (or at least the ability to follow trends).
So if you’re not already on TikTok, what’s your excuse? Fear of becoming famous? Concern that you’ll lose hours of your life scrolling? Too late—you’re already doomed. Might as well start posting.
Now go forth, make weird videos, and may the algorithm bless you with virality.
(Or at least a few likes from strangers who think you’re funny.)
Ah, WordPress. The magical kingdom where you can build your dream website, start a blog, and maybe—just maybe—rule the internet.
But then comes the moment of truth: You want a fancy homepage that says, “Hey, I’m a legit professional,” and a separate blog page that doesn’t scream “default WordPress install.”
And now you’re asking the internet: How do I even do that?
Fear not, brave site builder! I’ve got you covered. Grab your coffee, and let’s break this down like we’re baking a cake—with less mess and fewer existential crises.
🧱 Step 1: Create Two Pages (Yes, Two. Stay with Me.)
Head over to Pages > Add New.
Create one page and name it “Home”
Create another page and name it “Blog”
Don’t add content yet—these pages are just placeholders for now.
⚙️ Step 2: Set them as Static Pages
Now go to Settings > Reading.
Under “Your homepage displays,” choose A static page.
For Homepage, select the “Home” page you just made.
Jump into Appearance > Customize to style your homepage and blog layout. Depending on your theme, you might be able to tweak fonts, colors, and even the number of blog posts shown.

Now you have a shiny homepage for first impressions, and a blog page for all your unfiltered thoughts, genius how-tos, or cat memes. You’re not just building a site—you’re building your brand.

A step-by-step detailed guide on ‘How to Design a Landing Page in Systeme.io? (Without Losing Your Mind)
Alright, folks, buckle up because today, we’re diving into the wonderful, slightly frustrating (but totally worth it), world of landing page creation in Systeme.io. Whether you’re launching a business, selling a life-changing course, or just trying to get people to sign up for your revolutionary idea (like a subscription box for pet rocks), you need a landing page that converts. And you need it yesterday.
So, grab your coffee, elevate your patience, and maybe a stress ball — because we’re about to design a stunning, high-converting landing page in Systeme.io, step-by-step. Let’s get started!
First of all, log in (And Don’t Panic)
First things first, head over to Systeme.io and log in. If you don’t have an account yet, congratulations! You get to enjoy the thrill of setting one up. It’s free, and it takes less time than explaining to your grandma what an online funnel is.
If you don’t have an account created, just hit the ‘create one for free’ link sitting at the bottom of the login screen, and you shall find the following screen thrown your way.
Type in your email that you’d like to use for this account, and hit ‘click here.’
Once you’re inside, click on SalesFunnels from the dashboard. Why? Because a landing page is a critical part of your sales funnel, and Systeme.io groups them all together like a happy little marketing family.
For the sake of this tutorial, let’s choose ‘Build an Audience,’ because our plan is to build an audience and to have an email list. It usually includes an opt-in page and a thank-you page.
The ‘Sell’ option is designed for selling digital or physical products, and in the sales funnel you can include sales pages, checkout pages, and thank-you pages.
The ‘Run an Evergreen Webinar’ option is where you can automate webinar registration and replay sequences, and because we’re talking about webinars, this option usually includes registration pages and event pages.
The ‘Custom Funnel’ option gives you full control over funnel structure, as it allows adding different page types manually, but like I mentioned earlier, for this tutorial, we’ll stick to ‘build an audience,’ which shall give you a clear idea how to build a landing page, and then you’re free to experiment with the rest, if your patience allows you 🙂
Name should be whatever you’d like to call your funnel, just to organize it better. For this demonstration, I’m going to use ‘Saj’, now don’t ask me why.
The domain name can be set to default, or in this case, since I have purchased a domain name (cashcookies.org), I’ll type that in. If you have multiple domains connected to Systeme.io, you can choose different domains for different funnels that you create.
You can also choose the currency you’d like to use in your transactions, and since I’m from Canada, I’d choose Canadian dollars as my currency; of course this will differ depending on your location, and preference.
Once you hit ‘Save’ you should be able to see the following screen.
Systeme.io, in its infinite wisdom, provides you with several pre-designed landing page templates. These are great if you like things done for you — which, let’s be honest, most of us do. So, from a wide variety of the landing pages, I’m going to pick the first template I see; actually I could pick any template for this demonstration, it does not really matter, because I’m going to anyway strip the template off of all its elements, and show you how to start from scratch. So, I picked the following template.
Next, I’m going to take the cursor to the top right corner of each section, which is highlighted in green, and then hit the trash icon to delete the section. You might have to do this a few times, depending on the number of sections your template has, until you see a naked template like the following.
The next step is to add an image to the image element that we added a few seconds ago. So, to do that, click the cloud option in the ‘Image file’ menu on the left. I’m doing this because I already have images uploaded to the cloud; you also have an option to directly paste the link of the media that you would like to use here, but for that you will need to use the ‘link’ option that is sitting right under the ‘image file’ option on the left.
Once my image is uploaded, the ‘your images’ tab gets thrown onto the screen, so just select the image, and hit the ‘insert’ button, sitting at the bottom right corner of the screen.
This is how the image looks, which is a lot bigger than what I want, so not to panic. I’m going to use the image size slider on the left panel, and slide left to reduce the size of the image.
It’s time to update the text on the right column, so let’s type in the text, and I can always update the font using one of the options listed in the dropdown menu of ‘font type.’
You guessed it right! I’m going to select ‘Google fonts’ from here, which will throw open the different Google fonts, along with the font size, font style, letter spacing, and line height as well.
And right above the text are the options where I can update the text to bold, italics, underlined, strike through, change color, and hyperlink it, so click the change color option and change the color of the word to red.
Next, I will need to insert a box to capture the email of the subscribers, so I’m going to drag the ‘form input’ option and throw it right under the last text, and it shall look something like in the following image.
Next I’ll do some margin adjustments so as to ensure there is ample spacing all around. Play around to get the right margin for your elements on the screen; you can do it for all four sides: top, bottom, left & right.
Now for the call to action, since we’ve added the form input, we’ll need a button where visitors can hit to subscribe, so click-drag the ‘button’ right under the form input, as illustrated in the following screen.
The next step is to update the button text, so I’ll change it to ‘download now.’ You can always change the font, and font size of the button text, under the ‘typography’ section on the left, as shown on the left side of the image.
Let’s also tweak the settings to make the content look presentable on a mobile as well, and for that, click the tiny mobile icon that sits at the bottom left corner, next to the computer icon, and the screen should look something like in the following image.
Now, there isn’t much we need to do here, except updating the image size, and the margins between the image, and the rest of the texts we’ve used, and we do it the same way we updated the margins earlier. Just ensure to select the element first, and then update the margins.
You just built a landing page in Systeme.io, and you didn’t even throw your laptop across the room — impressive! Now, drive traffic to it, tweak it based on performance, and watch your email list grow.
If you found this guide helpful (or at least mildly entertaining), share it with a fellow marketer in need. And remember: A great landing page doesn’t have to be perfect — it just has to work.
